Senior Production Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• 3+ years of experience in Linux and working knowledge of shell scripting/power shell to work on automation initiatives.
• Able to handle production issues.
• Independently analyze, solve, and fix issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience and functional knowledge of Linux and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and incident/change management practices.
• Exposure to production incident handling, troubleshooting processes, and support operations.
• Familiarity with scheduling, automation, file management, compression, and monitoring-related activities commonly required in production support environments.
• Application Maintenance & Support.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to quickly provide solutions to issues encountered.
• Application / Product Monitoring (Basics)
• Basic Knowledge on common monitoring tool
• Basic knowledge of virtualization, storage, AD & Networking Concepts.
• Good communication skills.
• Should be comfortable with a Work from Office role, as Work From Home (WFH) is not available for this position.
• Should be ready to provide 24x7 support for critical production systems.
