Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor plant, equipment and site services safely and efficiently.
• Handle loading, unloading and packing of materials.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, safety procedures and permit requirements.
• Manage day-to-day batch manufacturing operations.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Planning, Logistics and Production teams.
• Plan shift activities and ensure smooth shift handover.
• Identify and resolve routine plant/process operational issues.
• Maintain accurate production records in SAP/computer systems.
• Perform sampling and basic analytical testing as required.
• Carry out basic maintenance activities or prepare equipment for maintenance.
• Ensure plant/equipment housekeeping and health.
• Follow SHE, risk assessment, incident reporting and emergency procedures.
• Suggest and implement safety and operational efficiency improvements.
• Train and coach new operators/recruits.
• Take ownership of assigned plant/equipment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of production/process operations experience
• Strong experience in batch manufacturing
• Chemical manufacturing/process industry exposure preferred
• Diploma Chemical / ITI
• Hands-on plant & equipment operation
• Experience working in shift operations
• Knowledge of SOP, safety, permit-to-work, SAP, sampling and basic maintenance
