Senior Production Manager

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Manage production of Monolithics and Ready Shape products as per production and dispatch plans.
• Plan manpower, raw materials and consumables and ensure smooth plant operations.
• Monitor production, process control, quality, inventory and cost performance.
• Manage SAP-PP, production orders, BOM, routing, costing and MIS reporting.
• Ensure EHS, 5S, statutory, IMS and ISO 50001 compliance.
• Drive safety audits, HIRA, Toolbox Talks and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Quality, PPC, Maintenance, Stores, EHS, vendors and contractors.
• Execute CAPEX/OPEX, Kaizen, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct team training and ensure adherence to SOPs and safe work practices.
• Support customer/vendor visits, production trials and developmental projects.

Skills & Competencies :

• Strong knowledge of refractory manufacturing and production processes.
• Experience in Monolithics, Ready Shapes, crushing, grinding, calcination and drying.
• Proficiency in SAP-PP, MS Office and production MIS.
• Knowledge of EHS, Quality, IMS, 5S and ISO 50001 requirements.
• Strong production planning, cost control and process optimization skills.
• Good leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in OPEX, Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives.

Education & Experience :

• B.Tech/B.E. in Ceramic, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10- 15 years of experience, preferably in the refractory manufacturing industry.
• Six Sigma, IMS or Energy Auditing certification preferred.
