About this role
About This Role BQE Software is looking for a Senior Product Manager to anchor our product organization in Kashmir Office. This is a dual-scope role: you will serve as the day-to-day mentor and escalation point for the Product Managers embedded within our India engineering office, while also contributing directly as a senior product management leader. on one of our most strategic initiatives. You will act as the primary liaison between our U.S. Product leadership and the India office, driving product excellence, establishing effective operating rhythms, and elevating product management practices across the team.
What You’ll Do/Key Responsibilities Enable and Develop the Product Team
- Provide day-to-day mentorship and guidance to Product Managers, helping elevate product management practices and overall team effectiveness.
- Develop and drive a structured coaching and capability-building program focused on modern product management practices, including opportunity discovery, user research, outcome-based metrics (e.g., NPS, product usage, and retention), stakeholder communication, and AI-enabled product management tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve product execution by addressing tooling, process, and knowledge-sharing gaps, and recommend scalable solutions.
- Foster a high-performing product culture centered on customer empathy, curiosity, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.
- Mentor and develop Product Managers, helping them grow into senior contributors capable of independently leading product areas end-to-end.
Lead and Contribute as a Senior Product Manager
- Own a strategic product area or initiative, leading it end-to-end while demonstrating best-in-class product management practices and setting a high standard for the broader Product team.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap, manage the product backlog, and partner closely with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact product initiatives from discovery through launch.
- Conduct product discovery with A/E firm customers, synthesize customer insights, and translate them into well-defined, high-confidence product opportunities.
- Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and product documentation to support effective execution by Engineering teams.
How We’ll Measure Your Impact This role is measured by outcomes rather than activity. Within your first 12 months, success will look like
- Product Management team NPS contribution: Deliver measurable improvements in NPS scores associated with features owned by the India Product team.
- Product Management craft maturity: Product Managers consistently producing high-quality discovery artifacts and outcome-oriented roadmap proposals with minimal reliance on U.S. Product Team review.
- Individual contribution: At least one significant product area under your direct ownership demonstrates meaningful improvements in product usage or NPS.
What We’re Looking For Required
- 8+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years in a Senior or Lead Product Manager role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated experience mentoring and developing Product Managers, with the ability to elevate product management practices across a team.
- Proven track record of delivering products and features that drive measurable business and customer outcomes, including product adoption, NPS, retention, and revenue growth.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating effectively across time zones and global teams, including U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Strong expertise in modern product management practices, including continuous discovery, outcome-based road mapping, Jobs-to-be-Done (JTBD), and iterative product delivery.
Strongly Preferred
- Experience with professional services software (project management, ERP, accounting, CRM, or similar solutions) serving SMB and mid-market customers.
- Experience leading or mentoring Product team through the transition from an order-taking or QA-centric model into outcome-oriented product management
- Familiarity with U.S. accounting standards and/or CRM best practices.
