Senior Product Manager

Role Overview:

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead the delivery of a new customer launch. You will own business outcomes for the product, support roadmap development for the project, be the gatekeeper of scope for the engineers - and ensure delivered code makes its way back into the core product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Co-own business outcomes, including quality of product requirements, feature reusability, customer satisfaction, and KPIs that demonstrate value generation.
• Ensure the smooth delivery and integration of developed features into the core product.
• Act as the voice of the customer by gathering and analysing customer feedback and scope changes, using data to inform roadmap decisions and prioritisation.
• Support design teams in defining features that need to be productised.
• Own end-to-end requirements gathering and documentation, translating business needs, customer feedback, and feature scope into clear epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and support the project backlog, ensuring items are prioritised based on value, ROI, and alignment with the broader project timeline.
• Provide analysis, context, and clear business value to enable developers to estimate, refine, and contribute to technical backlog items.
• Engage with development teams day-to-day, leading backlog grooming, sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact for feature scope across delivery teams and engineering.
• Support delivery teams in managing scope requests while maintaining focus on agreed timelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Project, Design, and Engineering teams to plan, shape, and deliver upcoming development increments.
• Work with Senior Product Management, Technology, and other stakeholders to set sprint and quarterly goals aligned with the customer roadmap.
• Present product progress and roadmap updates to customers and key stakeholders.
• Manage and respond to customer feedback and improvement requests, ensuring continuous improvement is incorporated into the roadmap.
• Resolve customer issues while balancing short-term fixes with long-term product evolution.
• Work with Product Experience teams to prepare customers for go-to-market activities.
• Stay current with Agile/Scrum best practices, product management methodologies, and emerging trends in the digital product space.
  

Requirements:

• 1-4 years' experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or in a similar product role
• Experience of OTT products and services web, mobile applications, and TV / STB platforms
• Exposure to B2B products and third-party dependencies
• Deep knowledge of Agile process and principles, with demonstrable experience owning a product backlog and writing user stories
• Hands-on experience leading team ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Organised, able to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day delivery
• Solid technical understanding to engage credibly with engineering teams
• Strong end-to-end stakeholder management skills, in an external-facing capacity
• Clear communication and presentation, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of the business
• Comfortable presenting roadmap progress and demos directly to customers and senior stakeholders
• Demonstrated business acumen — able to connect product decisions to commercial outcomes
• Analytical mindset — comfortable working with data to inform decisions
• Knowledge of OTT platforms or STB development
• Familiarity with the broadcast & telco industry
