Senior Product Manager - AI

As a Product Manager for the AI Platforms and Efficiency Group, you will be at the forefront of shaping how Flipkart builds and scales AI agents and core data science infrastructure that directly impacts GMV, customer experience, supply chain, seller productivity, and more. This role demands a combination of deep technical understanding, strategic thinking, and strong cross-functional leadership to build scalable products powering agentic workflows, data science platforms, and AI-driven decisioning.

Responsibilities:

• Platform Ownership: Drive product strategy, roadmap, and execution for Flipkart's Central Agentic AI Platform, which enables AI agents to operate autonomously across business functions.
• AI Agent Products: Own and evolve AI agent-based product experiences for solving key business problems like sales anomaly detection, HR, accounting, intelligent forecasting, seller insights, and customer support automation.
• Data Science Infrastructure: Partner with engineering and data science teams to enhance our internal data science platform, from experimentation to production, with MLOps, feature stores, model registries, and evaluation frameworks.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with DS/ML teams, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to understand use cases, define product requirements, and prioritize features.
• Business Impact: Deliver measurable business value through AI-driven product interventions impacting GMV, operational efficiency, and user engagement.
• Hybrid AI Integration: Define strategies to seamlessly integrate internal and external LLMs, fine-tuned models, and data sources to support both RAG-based and agentic capabilities.
• Governance and Security: Ensure tenant-based access control, observability, safety, and compliance in AI agent executions across business lines.

Requirements:

• Experience in product management, preferably in AI/ML, data platforms, or enterprise SaaS.
• Good understanding of product lifecycle management constructs to own problem statements and apply critical thinking to solve problems in a fast-changing technology space
• Understanding of data science/ML workflows, agent frameworks (AutoGen, LangChain, etc. ), and the generative AI ecosystem.
• Experience in building platform products that serve technical personas (data scientists, ML engineers, analysts)
• Managing platform stakeholders and deep research collaboration opportunities with technology companies or startups, if needed
• Proven track record of delivering AI/ML products from 01 and at scale.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's or master's in engineering, computer science, or related fields. An MBA is a plus.
