Senior Process Executive / Subject Matter expert

About the role

As a Corporate Lending Operations Specialist, you will make an impact by ensuring accurate and timely administration of corporate loan portfolios, from disbursements and repayments through covenant monitoring and reporting. You will be a valued member of the Corporate Lending Operations (CLO) team and work collaboratively with agents, internal partners, high-profile clients, and senior management.

In this role, you will

• Administer loans by monitoring disbursements and repayments, tracking interest accruals, fees and charges, and maintaining accurate loan records and documentation.
• Process payments by collecting principal, interest and fees, and allocating payments correctly between interest, principal and escrow accounts where applicable.
• Monitor covenants by verifying borrower compliance with agreed financial covenants and confirming that pricing matches the latest agent's notice and compliance certificate.
• Track reporting requirements such as financial statements and projections, following up with the agent for any missing notices or documentation.
• Manage communication and reporting by escalating issues appropriately with CLO management, providing loan statements, reporting to internal teams and liaising with agents.

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Bangalore, Karnataka.

What you need to have to be considered

• Self-motivated, a strong team player with sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A good understanding of basic accounting and the wire payments process.
• The ability to work effectively with high-profile clients, internal partners and senior management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Hands-on experience with Clearpar, LoanIQ and Bank Mainframe.
