Senior Process Engineer - Casting Process

Responsibility

• Support the activities of new product development and correlation studies for the improvement of simulation models also support the casting process development and scrap reduction activities within the manufacturing plants.
• Collaborate with peers on standardization, continuous improvement, and reporting standards of process modeling.
• Contribute to input data analysis to provide technical feedback for quotation processes
• Maintain technical contact with customers regarding process modeling
• Possess expert level skills and support activities of product & process development
• Manage project-related simulation budgets.

Required Skills:

• Expert-level knowledge of MAGMAsoft and Flow-3D simulation software.
• Strong expertise in die casting, gating system design, filling, solidification, and thermal analysis.
• Experience in new product development, simulation validation, and process optimization.
• Proven track record in scrap reduction and casting defect analysis.
• Skilled in technical reporting, root cause analysis, and customer coordination.
• Experience in automotive or aluminium die-casting manufacturing preferred.
