Senior Ppc Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and delivery schedules.
• Monitor production progress and ensure adherence to planned schedules.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Stores, Quality, Design, and Sales teams.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials and bought-out components.
• Monitor machine capacity, manpower utilization, and production output.
• Identify production bottlenecks, material shortages, and delays, and take corrective action.
• Track planned versus actual production and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and production lead times.
• Maintain production reports, order status, and MIS.
• Update and monitor production plans through ERP/MRP systems.
• Support productivity improvement, inventory control, and on-time delivery initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).
• 612 years of experience in Production Planning & Control in manufacturing industries.
• Experience in machining, hydraulic cylinders, engineering components, or precision manufacturing preferred.
• Good knowledge of production scheduling, capacity planning, BOM, MRP, and inventory management.
• Experience in ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
