Senior Power Bi Developer

Required Skills & Experience

7 to 10 years in BI development, including at least 3 years hands-on with Power BI reports and DAX.

Experience building reports to someone else's design and semantic model, and raising what will not work before building it.

Strong DAX for report measures, and filter design with slicers, filter panes, bookmarks and drillthrough.

Experience designing reports for speed: fewer visuals per page and efficient measures, checked with Performance Analyzer.

Experience using SQL to check report figures against the source.

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field (B.E., B.Tech, MCA or equivalent).

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Databricks SQL.

Geographic or territory reporting: zip codes, territories and maps.

Job Description

Build the territory changes tab and the geography tab, including a corporate accounts view, to approved wireframes on a shared semantic model.

Carry the selected customer ID into and out of both tabs.

Take on performance remediation tasks against an agreed target.

Run parity checks against the reports being replaced, with the senior business analyst and the lead Power BI developer.

Fix defects on your tabs found in user acceptance testing, support deployment, and contribute to the handover documentation.
