Senior Power BI/Fabric Developer (6-8 Years Experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven Senior Power BI Developer. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, SQL development, data modeling, data engineering and business intelligence solutions. The candidate should be capable of independently engaging with business stakeholders, gathering requirements, designing scalable reporting solutions, and mentoring a team of BI developers.

Experience with the Microsoft Fabric, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Azure Synapse Analytics will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
• Translate business needs into scalable and efficient Power BI solutions.
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain enterprise-level Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build robust data models utilizing star schema and dimensional modeling best practices.
• Develop complex DAX measures, KPIs, calculations, and performance-optimized reports.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and ETL-related scripts.
• Work independently to manage end-to-end report development lifecycle.
• Mentor a team of Power BI developers and analysts.
• Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to BI development standards.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to improve data availability, quality, and performance.
• Troubleshoot report performance issues and implement optimization techniques.
• Support deployment, governance, security, and workspace management activities in Power BI Service.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across reporting and analytics platforms.

• 6-8 years of overall IT experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
