Senior Power Bi Developer

Job Description:

Experienced Senior Power Bi Report Developer. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting, with a proven ability to design scalable, high-performance Power Bi dashboards and semantic models. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver actionable insights and trusted analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Build optimized data models, datasets, and semantic models.
• Develop complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading using Power Query.
• Integrate Power BI with SQL Server, Azure, Excel, and other data sources.
• Optimize report performance, data models, and queries.
• Implement Power BI security, including Row-Level Security (RLS).
• Publish and manage reports through Power BI Service and workspaces.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.

Required Skills:

• Strong Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service experience.
• Advanced DAX and Power Query (M).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Data modeling, Star Schema, and dimensional modeling.
• Power BI dashboards, visualization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RLS, gateways, workspaces, and deployment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred: Azure, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SQL Server, and Microsoft Fabric experience.
