Senior Php Developer

We are seeking a skilled and seasoned Senior PHP Developer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing back-end services, architecting scalable server-side logic, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of requests from the front-end. You will play a key role in defining database schemas, integrating third-party APIs, and mentoring junior team members.

Core Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules using modern MVC frameworks.
• Database Management: Create, optimize, and maintain complex database schemas and query structures (SQL/NoSQL).
• Performance Optimization: Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges to ensure application speed and scalability.
• API Integration: Build and consume secure RESTful APIs and integrate diverse third-party web services.
• Code Quality & Testing: Write clean, well-documented PHP code adhering to PSR standards; implement automated testing suites (e.g., PHPUnit).
• Collaboration & Leadership: Coordinate closely with front-end developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers to implement strategic product features. Mentor junior and mid-level developers through constructive code reviews.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 5+ years of proven professional experience in web development using PHP.
• Frameworks: Strong, production-level expertise in Laravel
• Databases: Deep knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) including query optimization, indexing, and data security.
