Key responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications and RESTAPIs using PHP
and CodeIgniter.
Structure applications cleanly across controllers, models, libraries and a service layer,
keeping business logic out of controllers.
Design normalized MySQL schemas for real business domains and write efficient,
correct queries for reporting and transactions.
Diagnose and fix slow queries using EXPLAIN, indexing strategy and N+1 query
resolution.
Implement Redis caching, cache invalidation and queue-based background processing
with workers, retries and batching.
Build reliable flows for inventory and stock updates under concurrent load, using
transactions, row locking and atomic updates.

Job Description - Senior PHP Developer (CodeIgniter), 8+ Years
Integrate third-partyAPIs and payment gateways with idempotent webhooks,
timeouts, retries and failure recovery.
Apply security best practices: authentication, authorization, SQL injection prevention
and secure file access (for example, S3 pre-signed URLs).
Own CI/CD pipelines, environment configuration, database migrations, rollbacks and
production troubleshooting.
Work directly with clients to understand requirements and explain technical solutions,
trade-offs and timelines.
