Senior Pharmacist

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Pharmacist to oversee pharmacy operations, ensure safe and accurate dispensing of medications, and guide junior staff while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily pharmacy operations and workflow
• Dispense prescription and OTC medications accurately
• Review prescriptions for correctness and drug interactions
• Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and side effects
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital/retail standards
• Manage inventory, procurement, and expiry control
• Maintain proper documentation and records
• Train, mentor, and support junior pharmacists and pharmacy assistants
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / M.Pharm)
• Valid Pharmacist Registration
• 2–5 years of relevant experience (Hospital/Retail Pharmacy)
• Strong knowledge of medications and regulations
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
