Senior Performance Test Engineer

Job Summary

Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Engineering, preferably in the Healthcare domain. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in scripting, workload modelling, test execution, monitoring, performance analysis, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute load, stress, volume, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Develop and maintain performance scripts using LoadRunner/LRE, NeoLoad.
• Perform API and end-to-end performance testing for healthcare applications.
• Develop workload models based on business volumes, concurrency, and transaction mix.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Dynatrace, Splunk, Mulesoft/Workato, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Analyze response time, throughput, error rates, CPU, memory, and other resource utilization metrics.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and perform root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, DevOps, and other technical teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare performance test plans, execution reports, dashboards, and recommendations.
• Support release readiness and performance sign-off activities.
• Communicate performance results, risks, issues, and recommendations effectively to technical and business stakeholders.
• Independently manage performance testing activities and coordinate with multiple stakeholders throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Performance Testing/Engineering experience.
• Strong Healthcare domain experience.
• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner/LRE and/or NeoLoad.
• Good experience in API performance testing and workload modelling.
• Strong understanding of performance monitoring and bottleneck analysis.
• Experience with Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities.
