Senior PeopleSoft HCM Technical Consultant

Job Description :

• Looking for experienced Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultants with strong hands-on expertise in PeopleSoft technical development, production support, integration, testing, and automation using PeopleSoft Test Framework. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting PeopleSoft FSCM and/or HCM applications, while also leading automated regression testing initiatives using PeopleSoft Test Framework.
• The candidate should have deep technical knowledge of PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, SQR, BI Publisher, PS Query, SQL, and PeopleSoft migration tools. The candidate should also be capable of working closely with functional teams, QA teams, business users, and project stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and maintainable PeopleSoft solutions.
• This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical ownership, and the ability to support both enhancement projects and critical production operations.
• The consultant must have practical experience with: Installing, configuring, and using the PeopleSoft Test Framework client.
• Creating and maintaining PTF test scripts.
• Recording, editing, parameterizing, and executing automated test cases.
• Designing reusable test components and test libraries.
• Managing test data and environment-specific variables.
• Troubleshooting PTF playback failures.
• Maintaining automated regression suites after application changes.
• Supporting regression testing during PeopleSoft Update Manager cycles.
• Coordinating PTF execution with QA, functional, and technical teams.
• Producing test execution evidence and defect-support documentation.
• Identifying automation candidates across FSCM and/or HCM business processes.
• Required Experience
• 8+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft technical experience.
• 2+ years of experience with PeopleSoft Test Framework or have worked on PeopleSoft Test Framework on at least 2 projects.
• Strong experience in PeopleSoft FSCM and/or HCM implementation, enhancement, upgrade, or support projects.
• Experience working in complex PeopleSoft environments with customizations, integrations, batch processes, and reporting requirements.
• Experience working with functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Experience with regression testing, automated testing, defect resolution, and release validation.Role & responsibilities
