Senior Pcb Design Engineer

Role Summary

PCB Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer, capable of handling end-to-end PCB design activities from concept and layout through manufacturing release.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-power and high-density PCB layout design using Cadence Allegro and Altium Designer.
• Handle multi-layer PCB designs for power electronics, control boards, and embedded systems.
• Perform component placement, routing, stack-up definition, and constraint-driven design.
• Define and implement electrical constraints, impedance control, and differential pair routing.
• Apply signal integrity and power integrity best practices.
• Ensure compliance with IPC-2221, IPC-7351, and Class 2/3 requirements.
• Perform DFM, DFA, and DFT analysis.
• Conduct design reviews and validation before release.
• Generate and validate Gerber, ODB++, and IPC-2581 outputs.
• Prepare fabrication and assembly drawings and maintain design documentation.
• Support prototype builds, debugging, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with schematic, mechanical, manufacturing, test teams, suppliers, and PCB fabricators.
• Manage libraries, version control, traceability, and design releases.
