    Roles and Responsibilities :Senior Paralegal

Draft, review, and quality-check US-standard legal documents — motions, pleadings, discovery responses, legal memoranda, case summaries, and correspondence — across criminal defense, family/matrimonial, and civil litigation matters.

    • Manage an active docket with minimal supervision; track deadlines, court calendars, and filing requirements across multiple concurrent matters.

Establish and enforce quality benchmarks for all team output; conduct structured peer review before submission to US attorneys.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, style guides, and drafting templates for recurring matter types.
Identify skill gaps and design targeted training — particularly in US legal drafting register, citation formats, and procedural rules.

      US Client & Attorney Interface
Serve as the India team's primary point of contact for US-based supervising attorneys; manage daily communication across time zones with responsiveness and precision.
Participate in matter kick-off calls, status updates, and client briefings as needed; prepare concise written status reports on active dockets.
Flag risks, delays, or quality issues proactively — never let a US attorney be surprised.

      Operations & Compliance
Monitor team SLAs, turnaround times, and capacity; report weekly metrics to India Office Head and US leadership.
Enforce strict compliance with attorney-client privilege protocols, data security policies, and confidentiality obligations.
Drive adoption of legal technology tools — case management platforms, e-filing systems, document review software, and workflow automation.
