This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Operations Manager based in the United States.
This is a senior operational leadership opportunity focused on shaping strategy, strengthening execution, and accelerating organizational performance. You will establish effective operating rhythms, define measurable goals, and translate strategic priorities into practical execution plans. The role works closely with senior leaders across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology to remove barriers and manage business risks. You will oversee budgets, vendors, capacity planning, process optimization, and performance management across a distributed operating environment. A significant part of the position involves developing leaders, building high-performing teams, and creating a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement. You will use data, KPIs, and actionable insights to guide decisions and improve end-to-end operational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic thinking, operational discipline, and hands-on leadership directly influence growth.
Accountabilities: Develop and execute a clear operational strategy, operating model, and annual plan aligned with organizational and regional priorities.
Lead end-to-end operational performance improvement, including capacity planning, process optimization, efficiency initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
Manage budgets, vendors, and external partners to achieve performance targets, maintain service levels, and optimize resources.
Partner with senior stakeholders across Sales, Finance, Operations, and Technology to resolve operational blockers and ensure effective cross-functional execution.
Establish meaningful KPIs and structured operating cadences, using performance data to identify trends, communicate progress, and recommend actionable improvements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure operational activities remain aligned with applicable standards, policies, and compliance requirements.
Establish and maintain effective risk management practices, proactively identifying potential issues and escalating them with clear mitigation and resolution plans.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing operations team, including leadership development, performance management, talent planning, and succession planning.
Strengthen accountability and execution across distributed teams by establishing clear priorities, processes, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
Support organizational growth by identifying opportunities to improve scalability, operational resilience, and overall business performance.
Requirements
10+ years of progressive leadership experience, including demonstrated experience managing managers and leading operational teams.
Proven background in operational excellence, continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or comparable methodologies.
Experience with multi-site or distributed performance management and the ability to coordinate effectively across geographically dispersed teams.
Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, translate strategic objectives into execution plans, and deliver measurable operational outcomes.
Strong experience managing budgets, vendors, external partners, KPIs, and structured operating review cadences.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment while maintaining operational discipline and focus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn operational data into clear recommendations and business actions.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills, particularly when working with senior internal partners and cross-functional leaders.
Strong people leadership capabilities, including coaching, team development, succession planning, and performance management.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; an advanced degree is an advantage.

Salary range of $150,000–$195,000 .
