Senior OT Technician Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operation theatre, instruments, and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and doctors during surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of OT instruments.
• Monitor OT equipment functionality and maintain inventory.
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other OT staff.
• Supervise and guide junior OT technicians and support staff.
• Maintain OT records, sterilization logs, and surgery checklists.
• Ensure availability of surgical instruments, consumables, and emergency supplies.
• Follow hospital protocols for pre-operative and post-operative OT preparation.
