Senior Officer/Senior Engineer (MG4) - Strategic Projects

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Control System Development
  • Design and implement control algorithms for engine management systems (EMS) and power electronics.
  • Develop software logic for start/stop sequences, load sharing, and synchronization between multiple genset units.
  • Optimize PID loops for frequency and voltage regulation to ensure stability under varying load conditions.
• 2. Calibration & Optimization
  • Perform base engine calibration, including fuel mapping, ignition timing, and air-path management.
  • Calibrate diagnostic monitors (OBD) to meet regulatory requirements and internal safety standards.
  • Conduct cold-start, transient response, and steady-state performance tuning on test benches and in-field prototypes.
• 3. Advanced Manufacturing Integration
  • Collaborate with the manufacturing team to develop End-of-Line (EOL) testing protocols.
  • Automate calibration flash processes for the assembly line to improve throughput and reduce human error.
  • Analyze field data and manufacturing telemetry to identify opportunities for "over-the-air" (OTA) calibration updates.
• 4. Validation & Testing
  • Utilize Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulations to validate control strategies before physical deployment.
  • Lead thermal and mechanical stress tests to ensure calibration remains robust across extreme environmental conditions.
