Senior O9 Consultant (Supply Planning)

Position: Senior o9 Supply Planning Configuration Consultant (Conractual Role)

Experience: 10+ years

Location: PAN India

Roles and Resposibilities

1. Functional Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements for supply planning processes.
• Run workshops with stakeholders to understand current and future-state planning processes.
• Design and configure o9 Supply Planning solutions aligned to business needs.
• Support implementation of Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Inventory Replenishment Planning, and Scenario/What-if Analysis.
• Configure planning policies, sourcing rules, allocation rules, and replenishment strategies.
• Support planning process design and business process improvements.

2. o9 Configuration Responsibilities

• Configure o9 data models, dimensions, hierarchies, measures, and attributes.
• Build and maintain planning workspaces, dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Configure planning calculations, business rules, workflows, alerts, and exception management.
• Set up security roles and user access.
• Perform solution validation and configuration testing.

3. Optimization and Support

• Customize configurations and workflows for performance and efficiency.
• Design user-friendly interfaces and action buttons.
• Tune solver performance for faster, better results.
• Create reports that help stakeholders make decisions.
• Refine user stories with teams and stakeholders.
• Support Client Success teams in resolving complex production issues.

4. Team Leadership

• Manage, guide, and mentor a team of o9 Configuration Consultants.
• Oversee team output to ensure quality and consistency in implementations.

Required Skills

• o9 experience: At least 3 years hands-on (planning configuration, workflow modeling, UI design, action buttons, procedures, solver tuning, report design), with 5-8 years of o9 Supply Planning configuration listed under mandatory experience.
• Supply chain: 6+ years overall, with strong end-to-end supply chain planning knowledge.
• Technical: SQL, data analysis and reporting, ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), ETL and data interfaces.
• Soft skills: Analytical thinking, communication, teamwork, leadership.
• Mandatory: At least one end-to-end o9 Supply Planning implementation (design, configuration, testing, deployment) and strong knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, and supply planning processes.

Preferred and Nice to Have

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or IT.
• Full-cycle o9 implementation, Agile experience, and client-facing consulting.
• o9 IBPL, demand planning, or SAP APO/IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Anaplan experience.
• Industry exposure in CPG, Retail, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, or Automotive.
• Azure, SSIS, Python, or data analytics.
