role overview:

we are looking for a senior nutritionist to lead our product science and regulatory efforts across our innovation pipeline. in this role, you will be responsible for creating unique product formulations, driving clinical efficacy, leading regulatory compliance, and translating complex nutrition science into simple consumer-facing communication.

key responsibilities:

• product science & formulation: lead product science across the innovation pipeline; build unique, differentiated product formulations focused on clinical efficacy.
• regulatory compliance: serve as the in-house expert on regulatory standards (fssai, claims, labels); train, guide, and hold the team accountable for compliance matters.
• science communication: collaborate with marketing to create, test, and scale easy-to-understand product science and nutrition communication.
• brand representation & partnerships: represent the brand across external scientific and industry forums (e.g., ida, pfndai, ilsi); build affiliate networks with health experts and nutritionists.
• customer engagement support: guide the customer experience team in resolving product-specific scientific and nutritional queries.

required qualifications & skills:

• master's degree or ph.d. in nutrition, dietetics, or related fields.
• 5 to 6 years of proven experience as a practicing nutritionist, dietitian, or product science specialist.
• strong knowledge of fssai regulatory guidelines, label claims, and clinical substantiation.
• excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex nutrition science for everyday consumers.
• prior experience in a d2c, wellness, or consumer brand environment is a plus.
• strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
