Senior Node.js Full Stack Developer (AWS)

• Lead design, development, and evolution of scalable, secure, high-performance backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Drive architectural decisions and technical strategy across multiple teams and product areas
• Establish and promote engineering best practices: code quality, testing, documentation, and operational excellence
• Design and review distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native solutions focused on scalability and reliability
• Lead cross-functional technical initiatives; collaborate with Architects, DevOps, Product, Security, and Support teams
• Translate complex business requirements into architectural designs, technical roadmaps, and execution plans
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and modern engineering practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues; improve system reliability and performance
• Evaluate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns for long-term platform growth
• Mentor senior engineers, lead design reviews, foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
• Influence engineering direction through architecture reviews, technical leadership, and strategic planning
• Support operational excellence through incident reviews, reliability improvements, and production readiness initiatives

Requirements Must-Haves:

• 8–10 years overall software development experience; 6–7 years relevant experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React)
• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures
• Experience building and governing REST and/or gRPC APIs
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures; hands-on AWS experience
• Comprehensive automated testing strategies: unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins, Spinnaker, or similar)
• Experience creating and reviewing technical design documentation: HLDS, LLDS, RFCs, architectural proposals
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools: Cursor, GitHub Copilot, prompt engineering
• Familiarity with observability/monitoring platforms: Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry
