Senior Network Security Engineer - Juniper SRX Firewall & ZTNA

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and implement network segmentation strategies using Juniper SRX Firewall and ZTNA to limit lateral movement and enforce least-privilege access.
• Design and operationalize Zero Trust security controls through firewall-based policy enforcement across enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with application owners to identify, validate, and map application dependencies to support policy-driven segmentation.
• Define and enforce granular security policies using security zones, network segmentation constructs, and firewall controls.
• Lead the standardization and adoption of Juniper SRX Firewall and ZTNA as the primary segmentation and access enforcement platform.
• Develop and maintain segmentation governance models, policy lifecycle management processes, and alignment with Zero Trust security frameworks.
• Participate in network security design reviews and ensure implementations meet enterprise security standards and security requirements.
• Analyze business requirements and implement network security solutions across data center, campus, and hybrid environments.
• Provide security posture reporting, control effectiveness metrics, and risk-based insights.
• Support internal and external security audits, compliance assessments, and remediation activities.
• Monitor emerging security threats and recommend policy enhancements to strengthen enterprise defenses.
• Develop and maintain network security policies, processes, and procedures to ensure reliability, availability, and security.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, infrastructure, and application teams to drive compliance, operational excellence, and secure architecture practices.
