Senior Network Design Engineer Cisco LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/Wireless

Role Summary

We are seeking experienced Senior Network Design Engineers with strong expertise in Cisco LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, and Wireless technologies. The resource will be responsible for producing detailed network designs and technical documentation aligned with customer-approved architecture standards and design frameworks.

The candidate should be capable of independently driving design activities, reviewing requirements, preparing HLDs and LLDs, supporting technical discussions, and providing design governance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Network Design

• Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD)
• Translate business and technical requirements into implementation-ready network designs.
• Review customer requirements and perform design impact assessments.
• Ensure design compliance with established customer architecture and engineering standards.
• Support migration, transformation, and network refresh initiatives for the sites and offices.

Cisco LAN Design

• Design enterprise campus and branch LAN solutions.
• Design and review:
• VLAN Architecture
• STP/RSTP/MST
• EtherChannel
• HSRP
• QoS
• IPv4/IPv6
• Multicast

Cisco WAN Design

• Design WAN connectivity across multiple locations.
• Prepare routing and resiliency designs utilizing:
• OSPF
• EIGRP
• BGP
• Route Redistribution
• MPLS
• VRF-Lite
• QoS

Cisco SD-WAN Design

• Design Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN solutions.
• Create designs involving:
• vManage
• vSmart
• vBond
• cEdge Routers
• Transport Architecture
• Application-Aware Routing
• Centralized and Local Policies
• VPN Segmentation

Wireless Design

• Design Cisco enterprise wireless solutions.
• Prepare wireless design deliverables including:
• Understanding survey requirements
• Work with partner for all kinds of survey requirements
• Perform in-house predictive survey
• Wireless Controller Architecture
• SSID Design
• RF Design Principles
• Wireless Capacity Planning
• Mobility Design
• Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 6E Deployments
