Senior Network Architect

Role & responsibilities

• Design and lead enterprise network architecture across data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Develop scalable, secure, highly available LAN/WAN, data center, and cloud networking solutions.
• Lead network transformation projects including SD-WAN, cloud migration, VXLAN/EVPN, and network modernization.
• Design and optimize routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, load balancing, and wireless infrastructure.
• Define network security architecture covering firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, segmentation, and Zero Trust.
• Develop HLD/LLD, architecture diagrams, technical standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Drive network automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, APIs, and CI/CD.
• Conduct capacity planning, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and architecture reviews.
• Evaluate network technologies, vendors, and solutions while managing technical standards and costs.
• Collaborate with Cloud, Security, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Enterprise Architecture teams and provide technical leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in network engineering, network design, network architecture, or infrastructure architecture.
• Strong expertise in Cisco, Cisco Nexus/Catalyst, routing, switching, BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS, LAN/WAN, and VPN.
• Strong experience with SD-WAN, data center networking, VXLAN/EVPN, Cisco ACI, and network virtualization.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, NAC, IDS/IPS, and network security.
• Strong knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP networking, hybrid cloud, VPC/VNet, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and ExpressRoute.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, Git, CI/CD, and network automation.
• Strong understanding of HLD/LLD, high availability, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Excellent technical leadership, stakeholder management, vendor management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer, PCNSE, or Fortinet are an advantage.
