Senior .NET Developer & Application Support - Night Shift

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer to develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and Microsoft SQL Server. The role also involves providing L3 production support, troubleshooting complex technical issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing solutions to improve application performance, stability, and reliability.

The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions while following established coding standards and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Provide L3 production support by troubleshooting complex application issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing permanent fixes.
• Analyze application code and business workflows using Visual Studio to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries, views, indexes, functions, and stored procedures.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and support database performance optimization.
• Perform Windows Server maintenance, including updates, disk space monitoring, and operational troubleshooting.
• Work closely with the manager and relevant stakeholders to support product enhancements and evolving business requirements.
• Document technical solutions and communicate technical designs, issues, and recommendations effectively.
• Contribute to code quality, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to established software development standards and best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline, or MCA.
• 68 years of experience in .NET application development, enhancement, maintenance, and production support.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET, Web API, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Proven experience troubleshooting complex production issues, performing root-cause analysis, and implementing effective solutions.
• Good experience with Web Services, Windows Services, and WCF Services.
• Experience in Windows Server maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including views, indexes, functions, stored procedures, and SQL administration tools.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic.
