Senior .NET Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced .NET Senior Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform. You will work as a skilled individual contributor within a collaborative engineering team, leveraging AI-assisted development practices to deliver scalable, cloud-native applications — while working closely with product, design, and fellow engineers to bring complex features to life.

• Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core (.NET 8+).
• Build and maintain Optimizely CMS / Commerce / DXP solutions — including content modeling, APIs, middleware and custom integrations.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Vertex Studios, Claude code assist or equivalent LLM-based tooling to improve velocity and code quality.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviews, contributing constructive feedback to peers.
• Develop and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs consumed by front-end teams, third-party systems, and microservices.
• Work with cloud infrastructure on Azure; contribute to IaC practices (Terraform / Bicep).
• Write and maintain automated tests — unit, integration, and regression — in collaboration with QA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend services and platform integrations.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery with cross-functional teams.
• Stay current on emerging technologies — including AI/ML services — and share learnings with the team.
