Senior Murex Functional Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Act as a functional SME across Murex Trading and Risk processes.
• Work directly with Front Office, Risk, Finance, and Operations stakeholders.
• Analyze issues across the trade lifecycle, pricing, valuation, P& L, risk, and reporting.
• Translate business requirements and functional issues into Murex specifications.
• Investigate root causes of functional issues and drive them through to resolution.
• Work closely with Murex technical/development teams on implementation and enhancements.
• Perform functional testing and validate solutions from a trading and risk perspective.
• Support business users during testing, releases, and production issues.
• Identify dependencies across trading, market data, valuation, risk, P& L, and reporting.
• Challenge and clarify requirements based on their business and trading impact.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of hands-on Murex experience.
• Strong Murex Trading and Risk functional expertise.
• Strong energy and commodity trading knowledge.
• Good understanding of power markets.
• Strong understanding of pricing, valuation, MTM, P& L, and risk.
• Experience working directly with traders/risk/finance/business users.
• Experience working with Murex technical teams.
• Strong functional analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
