Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer to help deliver world-class mobile experiences used by athletes, coaches, academies, colleges, and sports organizations around the globe. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact mobile products, collaborate with international teams, and contribute directly to the quality and reliability of applications used by thousands of users worldwide. As part of Trackman's global technology organization, you'll work closely with product, engineering, and QA teams across India and Denmark, with opportunities to travel and collaborate with our headquarters.
The Opportunity As a Senior Mobile QA Automation Engineer, you will own the quality assurance strategy for our mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. You will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, building and maintaining automation frameworks, and ensuring high-quality releases throughout the product lifecycle. This role requires a strong automation mindset, deep expertise in mobile testing, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for native Android and iOS applications.
- Build and scale mobile QA automation using
Maestro Studio and related testing frameworks.
- Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in sprint planning, refinement sessions, and release activities.
- Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and release quality.
- Contribute to CI/CD and automated quality validation initiatives.
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA Automation with significant mobile testing experience.
- Strong understanding of mobile application testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Hands-on experience testing native mobile applications across
Android and iOS .
- Proven experience designing, executing, and maintaining automated test frameworks.
- Strong expertise in
Maestro Studio for mobile automation (
required ).
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues.
- Experience creating detailed test cases, test plans, and defect documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing products with booking, scheduling, or reservation systems.
- Experience with API testing and backend validation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated quality gates.
