Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Automation Lead to drive mobile and web test automation, evolve scalable automation frameworks, and provide technical leadership to a high-performing Quality Engineering team. The ideal candidate will combine strong hands-on mobile automation expertise with framework development, CI/CD integration, and team mentoring in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and enhance end-to-end mobile and web test automation strategies.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable, and reliable automation frameworks.
• Lead and mentor automation engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive technical excellence.
• Maintain and optimize automated test suites to ensure stable and reliable CI/CD pipeline execution.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Leverage AI-powered coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor IDE to improve automation development productivity.
• Use VS Code and modern debugging tools to develop, troubleshoot, and optimize automation scripts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sprint quality objectives in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe environments.
• Drive continuous improvements in automation coverage, execution speed, framework reliability, and overall product quality.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Mobile Test Automation using at least one object-oriented programming or scripting language: Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Expertise in automation framework design, development, maintenance, and optimization.
• Proven technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and maintenance.
• Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, with exposure to scaled Agile (SAFe) practices.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants to enhance development and automation productivity.
• Proficiency with VS Code and modern development and debugging environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Hands-on experience with Playwright for fast, reliable web automation.
• Experience with cross-platform mobile automation tools such as Appium.
• Experience improving automation execution efficiency and pipeline stability.

Experience and Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall software test automation experience.
• Proven experience in senior automation or Quality Engineering technical leadership.
• Strong hands-on expertise in mobile automation, with experience developing automation scripts using Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Demonstrated ability to lead automation initiatives while remaining technically hands-on.
