Senior Mechanical Engineer

Role & responsibilities:

• Handle mechanical maintenance and asset integrity of plant equipment and machinery.
• Execute Preventive & Predictive Maintenance (PM/PdM) and routine equipment inspections.
• Maintain reactors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, rollers, mechanical seals and rotating equipment.
• Support maintenance of pressure vessels, tanks, piping, PRVs and rupture discs.
• Monitor air compressors, dryers and nitrogen generation systems and coordinate utility maintenance.
• Conduct breakdown analysis, RCA and corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Maintain critical spares and maintenance records.
• Support PSSR, HAZOP, HIRA, Permit to Work and process safety activities.
• Ensure proper earthing, leak detection, housekeeping and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with Operations and Projects teams for equipment modifications, installation and commissioning.
• Support initiatives to reduce breakdowns, downtime and maintenance costs.
