About this role
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer | Location: Fully remote, India preferred | Full-time, contract basis | Working hours: significant daily overlap with UK time
About We Are Agentic
We are an AI Training & Transformation agency based in London. We help organisations embed AI into the core of their organisation.
We were founded in December 2024 and we've grown quickly. We work with mid-market organisations across legal, financial services, insurance, recruitment, accounting, property, media and marketing, and PE-backed businesses. Mostly UK and the US. Our clients range from well-known consumer names to specialist professional services firms.
Our core belief is simple: AI success starts with people, not tools. Most companies have already bought the technology. What they're missing is adoption, and that's the gap we close. We run executive briefings, practical workshops where people leave having built something real, and longer programmes that take whole teams from AI-curious to AI-capable.
Why this role is worth your time
Our growth so far has been founder-led: LinkedIn, events, workshops and word of mouth. It works, and it's got us a long way. But it doesn't scale on its own, and that's why this role exists.
You'd be working directly under our experienced CMO, who has built and run marketing functions before. So you'll get proper direction, honest feedback and someone genuinely worth learning from, without the six layers of sign-off you'd sit under in a large corporate marketing department.
This is a hands-on ownership role. You'd run the engine room: the content calendar, the email platform, the CRM, the podcast, the social channels and the reporting. What you publish goes live. What you build gets used. Decisions happen in days, not quarters.
And there's a genuine career angle here. Our whole business is helping organisations use AI properly, so you'll be using these tools every day, with the people who train them for a living. Marketers who really understand how to work with AI are going to be in short supply for a while. This is a good place to become one of them.
Purpose of the role
To own the day to day running of marketing: making sure everything is planned, published and measured, and growing our organic presence across channels.
Key responsibilities:
Marketing operations and delivery
• Own the content and publishing calendar, making sure everything goes live on schedule and to a consistent standard
• Run our email marketing platform (ActiveCampaign): list segmentation, sequences, automations, list hygiene and deliverability
• Build and send the newsletter to a regular cadence
• Own communications for our live events and online workshops, from announcement through to post-event follow-up
• Manage our course platform: registrations, attendee data and session setup
• Maintain our CRM so records are accurate and every lead is traceable to its source
• Coordinate with our web developer to get approved content published
• Maintain the asset library and file structure
Organic channels and audience growth
• Own the social media calendar across all channels, planned rather than reactive
• Community management: responding, engaging and building relationships across our profiles
• Produce our podcast end to end: guest booking, preparation, recording coordination, editing, show notes and clips
• Repurpose long-form material into assets across every channel
• Grow our follower base and engagement from an early stage
• Write the shorter form copy that supports all of the above: social captions, event emails, show notes and newsletter copy
Tracking and reporting
• Make sure campaign tracking is applied consistently across every channel and campaign
• Produce a monthly performance report to a consistent format
• Monitor performance between reports and flag anything that moves unexpectedly
What we're looking for:
Essential
• Marketing experience in a startup or scale-up that has actually grown, rather than a large corporate marketing department
• Hands-on experience running an email marketing platform
• Experience maintaining a CRM properly, with clean data and reliable reporting
• Solid working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager, and a real understanding of how marketing activity is tracked, attributed and reported
• Highly organised. Comfortable owning a calendar and a checklist, and delivering without being chased
• Confident writing short-form copy: social, email and event communications
• Fluent, natural written English to UK business standard. Our audience is UK and European senior leaders, and everything you write needs to read as though it came from inside the business
• Able to work with a significant daily overlap with UK hours, enough to run live events, podcast recordings and day to day work with the CMO
• Commercially literate. Able to read a campaign report and understand what it's telling you
• Confident using AI tools as part of day to day production
• Able to take a written brief and deliver against it independently
Desirable
• Podcast or video production experience
• Event marketing experience
• Experience with WordPress or a similar website platform
• Paid social or paid search exposure, enough to understand performance reporting
• Interest in AI and how it's changing the way marketing teams operate
What it's like working here
• A small, senior team where your work is visible and your name is on it
• Direct access to the founders and the CMO, with fast decisions and no committee sign-off
• Proper investment in AI tooling, and the time and training to get genuinely good with it
• A front-row seat as we scale from founder-led sales to a real marketing engine
• Fully remote, with a team that's used to working this way
