Senior Manager

We have an opening for a Manager/Senior Manager Modern Trade with a very well-known and established brand in Gujarat's tea segment. The company has a strong regional presence and is looking to expand and strengthen its business across Modern Trade channels.

The position is based at their Ahmedabad Head Office, and they are looking for someone with FMCG sales experience, particularly in Modern Trade and key account management.

Role & responsibilities

• Modern Trade Account Management: You will manage relationships with major retail chains such as D-Mart, Reliance Retail, More, Star Bazaar, and regional modern trade accounts to drive business growth.
• Sales Growth & Market Expansion: You will be responsible for developing account-wise sales plans, achieving sales targets, and expanding the brand's presence across Gujarat and other relevant markets.
• Commercial Negotiations: You will negotiate listing fees, margins, trade schemes, promotional budgets, discounts, and commercial terms with key retail accounts.
• Product Launches & Visibility: You will manage product listings, new product launches, assortment planning, in-store promotions, displays, and brand visibility initiatives across retail chains.
• Cross-functional Coordination: You will coordinate with internal teams, including supply chain, distributors, finance, marketing, and production, to ensure product availability, smooth execution, and timely deliveries.
• Business Performance & Profitability: You will monitor sales performance, promotional expenditure, account profitability, competitor activities, and prepare MIS reports and business reviews for management.
