Role & responsibilities

1 Business Development & Sales Strategy

• Create and execute strategic B2B sales plans to hit monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Map potential clients, including garment exporters, domestic retail brands, institutional buyers, and merchant exporters.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms, and commercial delivery contracts to optimize company profitability.

2. Market Intelligence & Product Management

• Analyze consumer trends to introduce premium, performance, and sustainable knits
• Manage the complete fabric roadmap from concept, greige fabric production, to final commercialization.
• Monitor competitor pricing, product mix, and manufacturing technologies to maintain a market edge.

3. Client & Merchandising Coordination

• Showcase new fabric collections and sample counter-samples to brand sourcing and merchandising teams.
• Guide key customer accounts through fabric selection, laboratory testing parameters, and quality approvals.
• Address customer complaints regarding fabric defects, shrinkage, or shade variation to maintain retention.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with production planning (PPC), knitting and dyeing/finishing mills to meet delivery schedules.
• Relay client technical specifications (e.g., GSM, yarn count, blend ratio) clearly to the product development team
• Strong network of existing relationships with garment manufacturers and buying agents specially in south india
• Payment collection and customer complain handling with QA
