Senior Manager

We have an opening for a Manager/Senior Manager for our greenfield project in Mumbai as per the given below JD:

A.Manpower Planning & Recruitment

• Prepare manpower plans based on production and business requirements.
• Manage recruitment for plant, production, quality, maintenance, SCM, stores and other functions.
• Coordinate with corporate HR and recruitment agencies for critical positions.
• Ensure timely onboarding and effective induction of new employees.

B. Industrial Relations

• Manage industrial relations and maintain a healthy relationship with workers and employee representatives.
• Handle disciplinary matters, domestic enquiries and misconduct cases as per applicable laws and company policy.
• Support negotiations and settlements wherever applicable.
• Develop preventive measures to minimize employee relations issues.

C. Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, including:
• Factories Act / applicable OSH framework
• Industrial Relations requirements
• PF, ESIC, Gratuity and Bonus
• Minimum Wages / applicable wage regulations
• Contract Labour regulations
• Payment of Wages and other applicable labour laws
• Coordinate labour-law audits and statutory inspections.
• Ensure timely maintenance of statutory registers, records and returns.

D. Performance Management

• Implement the company's PMS and KRAs/KPIs for plant employees.
• Coordinate goal setting, performance reviews and appraisal processes.
• Identify performance gaps and support Performance Improvement Plans.
• Develop productivity-linked HR initiatives.

E. Learning & Development

• Identify training needs in coordination with functional heads.
• Prepare and implement annual training calendars.
• Conduct programs on technical, behavioural, safety, leadership and supervisory skills.
• Develop shop-floor supervisors and future plant leaders.

F. Compensation & Benefits

• Support salary benchmarking, annual increments and incentive schemes.
• Manage attendance, payroll inputs, overtime, incentives and leave administration.
• Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in coordination with Finance/Payroll.

G. HR Systems & Process Improvement

• Drive HRMS implementation and data accuracy.
• Establish standardized HR processes, SOPs and documentation.
• Use HR analytics and dashboards for manpower, absenteeism, attrition, overtime, productivity and cost monitoring.
• Identify opportunities for HR automation and process improvement.

H. Employee Engagement & Culture

• Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
• Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and action plans.
• Organize recognition, welfare and employee-connect programs.
• Promote a culture of discipline, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.

I. HR MIS & Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly HR dashboards and MIS for management.
• Track key metrics such as:
• Manpower strength
• Attrition
• Absenteeism
• Overtime
• Recruitment status
• Training hours
• Labour cost
• Productivity
• Employee grievances
• Compliance status
