Senior Manager

The Work itself:

• Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visas internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings
• Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads
• Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions.
• Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology
• Opportunities to make a difference on a global or local scale through mentorship and continued learning opportunities

• Bring in the best architecture and build highly available and scalable applications.
• Lead the team to create a positive impact to the product, process and people involved.
• Hands on technical leader who can mentor, guide, motivate and bring the team together for a purpose.
• Work with the stake holders and bring in synergy.
• Be a thought leader, able to grasp the things in big picture view and apply leadership thought process to make this a reality.
• Youll leverage on new technologies to build the next generation products.
• Youll help our customers achieve their real goals by understanding requirements and how they respond to their business needs.
• Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices, and development methodologies.

Qualifications

• Basic Qualifications:8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e g Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD Preferred Qualifications:9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e g Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhDBS or MS in computer science or related field12+ years of Software Development Experience or a Masters with 9+ years of Software Development Experience in designing, development and supporting large scale applications
• More than 3 years of leadership experience with direct people management
• In-depth understanding of agile principles
• Demonstrate expertise in running Agile teams in an enterprise setting of 10+ memberLead multiple scrum team members made up of both full-time employees and contractorsDeliver the product despite complex technical interdependencies with cross geographical teamsProvide technical leadership to product development team by participating in design, performing design reviews, code reviews and Quality engineering
