Job Brief:

We are looking for a Senior Manager - Supply Chain to lead Raphe's supply chain end to end: sourcing, planning, supplier quality, procurement, domestic and global buying, imports and logistics. You will turn our Right Parts, Right Quantity, Right Quality, Right Cost and Right Time principles into one working system, lead managers and specialists across electronics, mechanical, imports and shipping, and protect research and production from shortages, cost overruns and delays. You will use data to show what is working and what needs to change.

Essential Skills:

• Proven experience leading supply chain teams, including managers and specialists, with the ability to coach and develop them.
• Hands-on experience across the supply chain: sourcing, material planning, supplier quality, procurement, imports and logistics.
• Supplier strategy: finding, qualifying and selecting suppliers on technical, commercial, quality, capacity and delivery factors.
• Strong commercial negotiation and cost analysis: price, payment terms and delivery as one package, challenged with should-cost and total cost analysis.
• Working knowledge of both electronics buying (MPN-based components, PCBs, PCBAs, authorised distribution, traceability) and mechanical buying (materials, processes, tooling).
• Material planning and inventory control: Material Delivery Plan, safety stock, reorder points and shortage management ranked by production impact.
• Supplier quality: incoming inspection, nonconforming material, root cause and corrective action with suppliers.
• Domestic and global procurement: Indian supplier networks, imports, CHA and forwarder management, sea vs air decisions, Incoterms and landed cost.
• Understanding of commercial terms and contracts: payment terms, liability, warranty and penalty clauses, well enough to spot risk.

Preferred Skills:

• Import licensing, export control and controlled-goods paperwork (DGFT, SCOMET, end-user certificates, EAR / dual-use classification).
• Experience with government or defence procurement rules.
• Category strategy built from spend analysis, and long-term agreements for key materials and components.
• Experience setting up or scaling a supply chain function in a fast-growing company.
• Background in aerospace, defence, drone (UAS) or a related high-tech industry is a plus.

As Senior Manager - Supply Chain, you will:

• Lead the supply chain function at Raphe across sourcing, planning, supplier quality, procurement, imports and logistics.
• Lead and develop the Supply Chain Managers for electronics, mechanical, imports and shipping, and their teams of specialists.
• Set supply chain strategy, policies and SOPs, and make sure they are followed across all categories.
• Own the Material Delivery Plan and make sure shortages are caught before they hinder research or production.
• Build a qualified, risk-balanced supplier base in India and abroad, with dual sources for critical items.
• Keep the total cost of what we buy under control through negotiation, and category strategy.
• Ensure incoming material meets the required quality standards and that supplier corrective actions are closed.
• Make sure imports and controlled items are compliant, and that freight decisions protect dates at the lowest landed cost.
• Define and track supply chain KPIs such as on-time delivery, lead time, savings, stock levels, shortages and supplier defect rates.
• Share meaningful insights with leadership, and escalate risks early with recovery options.
• Build a culture where every learning about parts, suppliers and systems is written down for the next person.

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration ora related field.
• MBA in Operations / Supply Chain, or a certification such as CPSM, CSCP or CIPS, is a plus.
• 10–15 years of experience in supply chain, with at least 4 years leading teams that include managers or senior specialists.
