Senior Manager - Purchase Chassis Commodity

Role Purpose :

Responsible for strategic Sourcing/Purchase, supplier development, cost optimization, contract negotiations, and procurement of Chassis commodities for vehicle programs while ensuring quality, delivery, and cost targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end procurement of Chassis commodities such as Frame, Axle, Suspension, Steering, Wheels, Brakes, Fasteners, Exhaust system,Wiper System and related components.
• Develop and execute commodity sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and finalization of sourcing decisions.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives through value engineering, localization, and should-cost analysis.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and Program teams for smooth project execution.
• Ensure suppliers meet quality, delivery, capacity, and compliance requirements.
• Monitor market trends, raw material movements, and supplier performance.
• Support new product development and vehicle programs from sourcing to SOP.
• Manage contracts, commercial agreements, and procurement governance.
• Lead supplier risk assessment, capacity audits, and business continuity planning.
