Position Title - Senior Manager - Projects

Department -Marketing & CX

Location - Chennai

Job Purpose

To drive and manage strategic projects, governance frameworks, and cross-functional initiatives for the Marketing & CX function by acting as the PMO lead. The role is responsible for ensuring effective planning, coordination, tracking, reporting, and timely execution of key departmental initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & PMO:

• Drive centralized project governance for Marketing & CX initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, trackers, review mechanisms, and governance dashboards.
• Monitor project timelines, risks, dependencies, and escalations to ensure timely execution.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and execution discipline.

Strategic Project Management:

• Manage end-to-end execution of strategic projects across Marketing & CX.
• Support implementation of customer experience, digital, branding, and process transformation initiatives.
• Track Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Long Range Plan (LRP) and departmental priorities.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to drive project closures within defined timelines.

Budget Management & Control:

• Track and monitor project budgets and departmental spends against approved plans.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and finance teams for budget planning, utilization tracking, and variance monitoring.
• Ensure optimal utilization of budgets across projects and initiatives.
• Support preparation of budget-related MIS, forecasts, and management reviews.

Stakeholder Management & Coordination:

• Collaborate with internal teams and Business functions.
• Facilitate periodic project review meetings with leadership and ensure closure of action items.
• Act as a single point of coordination for project communication and status updates.

Reporting & Management Information System (MIS):

• Prepare leadership dashboards, project status reports, governance decks, and executive summaries.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers, and progress trackers.
• Enable data-driven decision-making through structured reporting and insights.

Process Improvement & Execution Excellence:

• Identify opportunities for process optimization and operational efficiency.
• Standardize project management templates and review mechanisms across the function.
• Drive execution rigor and ensure first-time-right delivery culture.

Job Requirements

Qualifications - MBA/PGDM from Tier I/II B-School

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in PMO, Project Management, Strategy, Marketing Operations, or CX Operations roles.
• Experience in managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder coordination.
