JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Manager Process Transformation is responsible for leading and delivering mediumtolarge process reengineering and transformation programs across a portfolio of clients and internal initiatives, while playing a critical role in global and enterprisepriority transformation programs. The role operates at the business / LOB / project / process level, translating strategic transformation objectives into measurable business outcomes, and acts as a key bridge between Leadershiplevel strategy and onground execution, mentoring Managers.

The role involves owning and executing clientfacing consulting engagements as well as internal transformation initiatives, sometimes as an independent contributor and at other times as part of larger crossfunctional teams. Most engagements are within the BFSI domain, with a strong focus on Investment Banking and Insurance, driving customerspecific goals such as cycletime reduction, cost optimization, productivity improvement, and operational KPI uplift.

The incumbent is accountable for endtoend delivery of discrete transformation outcomes, including problem diagnosis, solution design, implementation support, and value realization. Strong consulting, communication (written and verbal), stakeholder management, and flexibility to travel are essential. The role also requires handson expertise in documenting, analyzing, reporting, and presenting consulting studies, supported by strong analytical and statistical capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders across client and internal leadership levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Transformation Delivery & Program Ownership

• Lead endtoend delivery of multiple transformation initiatives across portfolios or accounts.
• Translate enterprise or accountlevel strategy into execution roadmaps and value plans.
• Track benefits realization, KPIs, and financial impact.

Consulting & Problem Solving

• Conduct and support leadership team in diagnostics, process assessments, and value discovery exercises.
• Structure complex business problems using Lean / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop executiveready insights, recommendations, and improvement roadmaps and present it with leadership team.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Engage with Account Leaders, Operations Heads, and Client SMEs.
• Act as a trusted advisor on efficiency, risk, scalability, and CX improvement.
• Support leadership reviews, steering committees, and governance forums.

Digital, AI & Automation Enablement

• Identify and drive automation, RPA, AI, and workflow opportunities.
• Partner with IT, Digital, and vendor teams to implement solutions.
• Promote datadriven decision making through dashboards and analytics.

Client Due Diligence & RFP

• Support endtoend due diligence and RFP / RFI / RFQ engagements.
• Conduct process maturity, risk, compliance, and scalability assessments.
• Develop effort estimates, business cases, and transformation solution inputs.

People Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and mentor Managers, Black Belts, and Consultants.
• Review project deliverables and ensure methodology adherence.
• Drive LSS projects, capability development training and consulting rigor.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to project governance framework.
• Ensure adherence to standard methodologies, templates, and governance.
• Identify execution risks and proactively mitigate issues.

EDUCATION QUALIFIERS

Qualifications

• MBA / Engineering (Tier 1 preferred)
• Degree / Masters degree in finance / business management - Mandate

CERTIFICATION QUALIFIERS

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt Mandate
• Minitab Tool Usage - Mandate
• Process Mapping Experience Business Optics, IBM Blue Works and Visio Mandate
• PMP - Preferred

EXPERIENCE QUALIFIERS

• 1216+ years overall experience
• 07 - 10+ years in process excellence / consulting / transformation
• BPO / BFSI / Shared Services / Consulting exposure preferred
