Senior Manager - Pricing

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager - Pricing to lead pricing strategy, analytics, governance, and execution across the business.

The role will be responsible for developing pricing frameworks, identifying revenue and margin improvement opportunities, monitoring market trends, and partnering with sales, finance, product, and business teams to drive profitable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market dynamics, and profitability targets.

- Own pricing analysis across products, services, customer segments, geographies, and channels.

- Conduct competitive benchmarking and market research to identify pricing opportunities and risks.

- Analyze customer willingness to pay, price elasticity, discounting patterns, and competitive positioning.

- Build pricing models and frameworks to support pricing decisions and business growth.

- Monitor pricing performance, realization, margins, and revenue impact through regular dashboards and reports.

- Identify opportunities for price optimization, margin improvement, and revenue enhancement.

- Establish pricing guidelines, discount structures, approval mechanisms, and governance processes.

- Work closely with Sales and Business teams to evaluate pricing proposals, commercial negotiations, and special pricing requests.

- Partner with Finance to assess pricing impact on revenue, margins, profitability, and business forecasts.

- Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams on product positioning, packaging, promotions, and pricing changes.

- Support business teams with data-driven recommendations for new product launches and pricing revisions.

- Develop scenario analysis and simulations to evaluate the impact of proposed pricing changes.

- Track pricing KPIs and proactively highlight deviations from pricing and profitability targets.

- Drive continuous improvement of pricing processes, tools, and analytical methodologies.

- Present pricing insights and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 8 - 10 years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, revenue management, business analytics, or a related function.

- Strong understanding of pricing strategy, price optimization, profitability, and commercial decision-making.

- Experience in pricing analytics, competitive benchmarking, and market intelligence.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations.

- Strong understanding of revenue, margin, discounting, and pricing levers.

- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with business intelligence/reporting tools.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong presentation and business storytelling capabilities.

- Experience handling multiple pricing initiatives in a fast-paced business environment.
