Senior Manager Material Audit SCM

Audit Planning & execution: Conduct annual and quarterly exercises to classify auto and non-auto inventory into ABC categories in line with inventory policy. Prepare and execute quarterly inventory plans based on checklists and risk assessments. Preparing annual perpetual & MASOP inventory audit plans & further translating it into quarterly and monthly deliverables. Design, implement, and manage the perpetual & MASOP inventory program and schedule. Supervise daily, weekly, and monthly cycle count activities to ensure all material categories are reviewed within defined frequencies

Coordinate with SCM, PPC, manufacturing and finance teams to ensure effective policy implementation. Support external auditors during quarterly inventory reviews.

Inventory Variance control: Planning & Conduct Physical verification for Auto material in EV-Sanand plant through perpetual & periodic auditing cycles, in coordination with stakeholders such as SCM, Manufacturing, Finance and IT team. Planning & Conduct Physical verification for MASOP vendors, direct & indirect material covered under EV-Sanand plant through perpetual & MASOP auditing cycles, in coordination with stakeholders such as SCM, central maintenance, tool engineering & finance. Analyse inventory variances to identify root causes.

Due diligence, financial checks, documentation, and approval checks: Verify perpetual & periodic inventory and review reconciliation statements from SCM, manufacturing and PPC. Evaluate the financial impact and report findings to management in line with internal guidelines.

Statutory Compliance, Internal Control, and Internal Audit: Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements—interface between Statutory, Internal Auditor, Finance and Management for material reconciliation, perpetual inventory & MASOP inventory process. Support internal and external audits, providing detailed transaction records and reconciliation evidence.

Improvement Projects: Collaborate with internal / external stakeholder, to drive strategic initiatives / projects prioritised by management, to improve the management governance framework & business performance.
