Senior Manager - Marketing - Mall

Position Summary:

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing activations, events, promotional campaigns, and driving brand support initiatives to enhance customer engagement basis business and marketing objectives. The role involves managing the annual marketing calendar, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders, ensuring seamless event execution, and delivering high-quality customer experience within approved budgets.

Marketing Activations & Campaign Management:

- Develop and execute marketing activations, promotional campaigns, seasonal events, and experiential initiatives aimed at increasing footfall, customer engagement, and retailer conversion.

- Prepare and implement the annual marketing and events calendar in alignment with business objectives, festive periods, and key trading opportunities.

- Conceptualize and execute innovative customer engagement programs that enhance brand visibility and drive repeat visits.

Event Planning & Execution:

- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of mall events, exhibitions, trade shows, promotional activities, community initiatives, corporate events, charity events, and other customer-focused programs.

- Ensure all events are delivered efficiently, on schedule, and within approved budgets while maintaining high standards of quality and customer experience.

- Coordinate with internal departments, retailers, agencies, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution.

Décor:

- Develop and implement visual merchandising and décor strategies that enhance the overall ambience and appeal of the property.

- Ensure all seasonal décor, promotional displays, signage, and branding elements are executed in line with marketing objectives and brand guidelines.

- Continuously evaluate and improve visual presentation standards to maximize customer engagement.

Project, Vendor & Budget Management:

- Establish project timelines, priorities, and deliverables, ensuring timely completion of all marketing activities and events.

- Manage relationships with event agencies, vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure quality execution and cost-effective delivery.

- Monitor marketing and event budgets, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to approved financial plans.

Additional Attributes:

- Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to actively listen, understand requirements, and convey information effectively.

- Should be a team leader, 2 subordinates under his/her leadership present at the centre.

- Closely liaise with Head Office (marketing team) and should be a good team player.

- Proficient in handling challenges and understanding in mall consumer, market, competition.

Experience & Qualification:

- Bachelors Degree in any stream (12+3 years).

- 12-15 years of marketing activations, events, partnerships, brand promotions, or mall marketing.

- MBA - Marketing with specialization in events and with mall background preferred.
