Senior Manager - Market Research

Purpose of the position

Generate Customer/ Industry insights, analyse market trends/ industry data, generate cues basis data analysed, generate end to end market research plan for various departments like Marketing, design, engineering, New technology department etc., new technology evolutions through primary or secondary market research along with usage of analytic tools like mTab, SPSS and be responsible for creating plan, executing research, and presenting report in ppt or excel format.

Education: MBA Full Time

Experience: 3-8 years of relevant experience

• High attention to detail with a structured and data-driven approach.
• Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative market research methodologies.
• Expertise in customer and automotive market research.
• Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Good knowledge of on-line market research techniques
• Ability to derive actionable insights from market, customer and industry data.
• Knowledge of automotive industry trends, competitive benchmarking and consumer behavior.
• Strong project management and research planning capabilities.
• Excellent presentation, report writing and communication skills.

Responsibility

1.Contribution to planning:

• Hire MR agencies as per set processes and evaluation criteria and brief agency about the Market Research.
• Provide accurate, timely industry data to the concerned stakeholders

2.Market research service:

• Check co-ordination with all the concerned stakeholders (Sales, service and other teams as applicable) for end-to-end market research execution.
• Understand requirements for Market Research from cross functional teams and provide assistance in design of Market.
• Research; decide on the research & approach (qualitative, quantitative, etc.)
• Prepare research briefs, proposal evaluations, agency negotiations and agency selection.
• Seek approval from concerned stakeholders (Sales, service and other teams) to launch Market Research.
• Follow-up with the agencies to complete MR field work and submission of the collected data and/or analysis.

3.Industry data collection and MIS maintenance:

• Interact with multiple entities such as SIAM, internal and external agencies, competition etc. to share and receive sales, industry data across all PV segments on a monthly basis
• Prepare and publish on monthly basis comprehensive flash reports such as PV cumulative market share - various segment trends.
