Role Overview:

The Debt Syndication team at Growthally Advisors plays a pivotal role in navigating the complexities of the Indian credit markets. As a Senior Manager, Manager, or Assistant Manager, you will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of debt transactions, from initial financial structuring to final disbursement. You will work closely with C-suite executives and finance heads of client organizations to understand their capital requirements while maintaining robust relationships with banks, NBFCs, and alternative credit funds. Your work directly influences the financial health and growth trajectory of our clients by ensuring optimal cost of capital and efficient liquidity management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end execution of debt syndication mandates, including term loan facilities, project finance, and structured debt instruments, to ensure timely financial closure for clients.

- Develop comprehensive financial models and information memoranda to articulate the credit story of clients to potential lenders and credit rating agencies.

- Conduct rigorous credit appraisal and risk assessment to identify potential bottlenecks and structure deals that align with both borrower requirements and lender risk appetites.

- Manage active relationships with a wide network of financial institutions and credit funds to ensure a steady pipeline of liquidity and competitive pricing for mandates.

- Oversee the debt restructuring process for stressed assets by negotiating with creditors and designing sustainable repayment plans that restore financial stability.

- Coordinate with legal, technical, and financial due diligence teams to ensure all documentation and compliance requirements are met during the syndication process.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and credit analysis, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable investment insights.

- Strong understanding of the Indian capital markets, including regulatory frameworks, credit rating methodologies, and current trends in structured finance.

- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, essential for managing high-stakes interactions with institutional lenders and corporate clients.

- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.

- A professional degree such as an MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA is preferred, reflecting a strong foundation in corporate finance principles.

- Ability to thrive in a high-performance, on-site environment in Mumbai, collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team structure.
