Senior Manager Global Payroll

Role & responsibilities

10+ years of experience in payroll operations, with expertise in multi-country payroll outside the US.

Strong experience in outsourced payroll vendor management, SLA/KPI governance, and compliance.

Proven expertise in global payroll transformation, system implementation, migrations, and process standardization.

Strong understanding of statutory compliance, SOX/ICFR controls, and audit requirements.
Experience leading distributed teams and managing global stakeholders.

Candidates with GCC, GBS, shared services, or multinational organisation experience will be preferred.

3. Payroll Transitions and Transformation: Could you share examples of payroll transitions or vendor migrations you have led, particularly your involvement in cutovers, parallel runs, go-live, and post-implementation hypercare?
4. Payroll Governance: Have you chaired or led regional payroll governance forums involving HR, Finance, regional teams, and external payroll providers? If so, please outline your responsibilities.
5. Statutory Compliance and Risk: Could you elaborate on your experience managing country-specific payroll compliance, tax-related escalations, SOX/ICFR controls, and audit requirements across multiple jurisdictions?
6. Team Leadership: Please share the size and structure of the teams you have managed, including any regional or geographically distributed teams.
