Senior Manager - Global Commodity For Electronics & EMS

We're seeking an experienced and influential Senior Commodity Manager to lead our EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) sourcing efforts. This critical role requires a strong, strategic thinker who can effectively communicate and negotiate at the leadership level of EMS companies. Role & responsibilities

- Develop and manage EMS vendors for Bloom Energy's electronic commodity, including price management, T2 Off the Shelf parts vendor management, and supplier performance.

- Own sourcing strategy and supplier relationship management function, performing market analysis and forecasting industry trends.

- Define cost structures and develop should-cost models to drive cost savings.

- Support product development roadmap, incorporating design changes and implementation to current and future product lines.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess, understand, and prioritize business needs.

- Communicate and negotiate with senior-level executives at EMS companies to drive strategic partnerships and achieve business objectives.

Preferred candidate profile

- 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on EMS.

- should have experience in managing a team

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related field.

- 3-4 years of experience in program management role in EMS is preferred.

- Technical knowledge of EMS processes like PCBA, Box build, etc. is preferred.

- Strong negotiation skills, with ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data.

- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate at the leadership level of EMS companies.
